A Song from the Hill Country

As Mary and the the disciples waited and prayed during those nine days after the Ascension of the Lord for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, so we dedicate ourselves to prayer, and - in the company of Mary - rejoice in the good things God has done and continues to do for and through us. We pray that the Spirit, who overshadowed Mary, and swept through that house like wind and fire, may fall afresh upon us and fill the church with new life, that we may be witnesses, to the end of the earth...!

CHILDREN AT THE PENRHYS PILGRIMAGE

The Penrhys Pilgrimage is suitable for all ages, young and old, and we actively encourage and welcome children and young people, providing fun and safe activities for them. The Mass at 12 noon is also suitable for all ages.

Activities for children and young people are available from 10.30 am—2.15 pm. Children and young people can ‘drop in’ to the activities at any time during this period. However, the activities will stop for one hour during the Mass which begins at 12 noon.

You don’t need to book!
However, if you would like to let us know that you’re are taking part—especially if you’re bringing a large group of children then please contact us (it helps us in our planning!)

Important Note for Leaders
Although we are providing activities and opportunities for children at the Penrhys Pilgrimage, please remember that you have full responsibility for the children you bring. Please ensure that you have followed all the necessary procedures and provide adequate supervision on the day. The Pilgrimage is a public event, taking place in a public venue, and you should follow all the necessary procedures to ensure the safety and well being of the children in your care.
